The DJI Avata 360 Intelligent Flight Battery is a highly powerful 38.67Wh (2700mAh) power source, designed for the brand-new DJI Avata 360 drone. According to the specifications, this battery is expected to deliver around 23 to 25 minutes of flight time per charge, depending on your flying style and weather conditions. This capacity is significantly larger than that of the earlier Avata 2 (31.7Wh), resulting in longer flight sessions and more creative freedom. Because an FPV flight goes by quickly, an extra battery is essential for pilots who don’t want to miss any action.

Like other premium DJI batteries, this model is equipped with an advanced Battery Management System (BMS). This system continuously monitors temperature and voltage, and communicates in real time with the DJI Fly app to show you the exact remaining flight time. In addition, the battery features an automatic discharge function. If you don’t use the battery for several days, it discharges itself to a safe storage level of around 60%. This prevents dangerous swelling of the internal cells and significantly extends its lifespan.

To charge this battery, place it in the drone itself or in the optional Two-Way Charging Hub. When you then connect a suitable 65W (or higher) USB-C PD adapter, you benefit from ultra-fast charging times. The built-in protection safeguards the cells against overcharging and short circuits, while the ‘cell balancing’ technology ensures even power distribution. The compact design makes the battery perfect to carry multiple units in your camera backpack.

Please note: due to specific voltages and connectors, this battery is only suitable for the DJI Avata 360 and does not physically fit the original Avata or Avata 2. For safety, we always recommend using genuine DJI batteries and transporting them in a fireproof bag. If you plan to buy multiple batteries, consider whether the Fly More Combo (including 3 batteries and a charging hub) may be better value for you. Because the Avata 360 is scheduled for launch in March 2026, the above specifications may still differ slightly at the final release.
