The DJI Mic 3 is an improved version of the DJI Mic 2, allowing you to capture videos with even better sound quality without the need for large professional audio equipment. Four-channel outputs, adaptive balanced volume, two-level noise reduction, integrated time codes and internal 32-bit recording are all features of the DJI Mic 3.

Cinematic sound in pocket size

With the DJI Mic 3, you can record cinematic sound. Thanks to the smart technologies built into this microphone, you'll never need to use another microphone again. It offers two different Adaptive Gain Control modes for balanced volume. You can choose Automatic mode, which is ideal for recording in outdoor environments where the volume is not always the same. And Dynamic mode, which is particularly suitable for indoor recordings where the volume is consistent. The built-in noise cancellation makes the sound even more detailed.

You also have three preset tone types that allow your voice to be heard loud and clear. You can choose from Regular, which makes your voice sound natural and balanced; Rich, which makes your voice sound fuller for a stronger sound; and Bright, which makes your voice sound clearer and smoother.

Work together

The DJI Mic 3 can record up to four transmitters simultaneously. This allows you to capture up to four audio sources. The main receiver can control up to seven other receivers. Whether you're doing a group interview or filming with multiple cameras and want to record sound, you'll always have crystal-clear audio.

The Mic 3 supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz transmission with a range of 400 metres. This range is always stable thanks to the built-in anti-interference capabilities. You also don't have to worry about missing audio files. The DJI Mic 3 records the sound and protects the file from missing fragments due to transmission or recording device errors.

Using the timecodes, you can easily find the part of your sound file you need and customise it in post-production. By simply connecting the charging case and USB-C cable to both transmitters and your computer, you can easily transfer all your sound files.

Sound always at hand

With the DJI Mic 3, you'll never be without sound. The transmitter has a battery life of 8 hours and the receiver has a battery life of 10 hours. Combined with a fully charged charging case, you can record non-stop for over a day. When both batteries are empty, you can recharge within 5 minutes and get back to work for another 2 hours.

The microphone is packed with smart technology that saves battery life. The transmitter automatically goes into sleep mode when it receives no signal from the receiver and automatically turns back on when the signal returns. You can also set the Mimo app to automatically turn both off after a short period of inactivity. You can also continue recording while charging the receiver.

Get the most out of it

If you want to get the most out of your DJI Mic 3, you can't do without optional accessories. For example, with the DJI Mic Series Camera Adapter, you can mount the microphone on Sony cameras, among others, giving you 48kHz 24-bit digital audio recording and four-channel output. In addition, the Mobile Phone Adapter allows you to use the Mic 3 in combination with your iPhone. You can also choose from five optional windshields, each with its own colour, to match the clothing and environment in which you are filming and recording sound.
