The DJI Osmo Mobile 8P is a professional smartphone gimbal with three-axis stabilisation, designed for creators who want full control over their recordings and framing. Its standout feature is the Osmo FrameTap: a detachable remote control with a 1.4-inch touchscreen that shows a live view from your phone. This lets you frame self-portraits with precision or control your shot remotely without having to keep an eye on your phone screen. Simply tap a subject on the FrameTap screen to start tracking.
The included DJI OM Multifunctional Module 2 significantly expands the tracking possibilities. In addition to people, cats and dogs, it can also follow general objects such as cars, collectibles or landmarks. ActiveTrack 8.0 keeps your subject in frame, even in busy situations such as concerts or trade shows. Via Apple DockKit, you can connect the gimbal directly to iPhone for tracking through the default camera app. The Multifunctional Module 2 features a built-in fill light with 8 brightness levels and adjustable colour temperature from 2500 to 6500 K, ideal for low-light recording or live streaming.
The Osmo Mobile 8P has a built-in extension rod, up to 215 mm, and an integrated tripod, so you do not need extra accessories. The gimbal supports creative modes such as PTF, FPV and PF, as well as features like SpinShot, 360° horizontal rotation, low-angle shooting and DynamicZoom. The battery lasts around 10 hours and also charges your phone via USB-C.
