Description
The DZOFilm Vespid Prime 21mm T/2.1 PL mount is part of DZOFilm's Vespid lens series, and is well suited for independent and high-quality full-frame cinematography. The lens has a front diameter of 80 mm, allowing it to work with almost any film-style matte box. Its compact size makes this lens a desirable option when working with drones and gimbals, as well as when shooting handheld or run-and-gun. This fully manual lens has a Canon PL mount, and with optional lens adapters you can use it on cameras with different mounts. The full-frame lens coverage supports sensors with an image circle of up to 46.5 mm for use on cameras with sensors up to full-frame without any vignetting.
The 16-blade aperture creates round blurred highlights that look more natural and contribute to the lens' natural-looking bokeh. The focus ring has a 270° rotation for accurate focus pulls, and the iris ring a generous 68° rotation. Cine-style gear rings on the focus and iris rings make the lens compatible with cine-style lens accessories such as: follow focus units, lens motors and lens control systems.
