The Easypix InstantFUN digital instant camera is more than just a camera. It combines the charm of Analog photography with the simplicity of modern technology. Thanks to thermal printing technology, which requires no ink at all, unique black-and-white images are created using only heat on the heat-sensitive Paper - fast, eco-friendly and great fun!
InstantFUN uses an eco-friendly printing process that requires no ink or toner. Instead, it uses BPA-free thermal paper with a heat-sensitive layer. Targeted heating creates a high-contrast image with a characteristic dot grid. This gives the photos a unique retro look.
Format: Prints in the practical 5.7 x 9.2 cm format are ideal for scrapbooks, memories or gifts.
Designing and decorating: The black-and-white photos can also be coloured in with colour pens and individually embellished.
Print now or later: the 2.4-inch display lets you decide whether to print the photo immediately after taking it, or later - or even several times if necessary.

How does thermal printing work?
Thermal sensitive paper: The InstantFUN uses special paper with a chemical layer that reacts to heat.
Heat instead of ink: Inside the Camera's print head are small heating elements. These specifically heat certain parts of the Paper.
Black and white image: the heated areas on the paper turn black, the unheated areas remain white. This is how the image is created.

The whole process happens at lightning speed and requires no ink or toner: just thermal paper and heat. This makes thermal printing clean, easy and environmentally friendly. :)
