Description
The EIZO ColorEdge CS2420 impresses with its EIZO microprocessor. The gamut and the stability of the LCD technology's viewing angle entirely depend on the sophistication of the electronics and the precision of the calibration. The screen has an impressive highest resolution of (1.920 x 1.200), contrast of 1.000:1 and brightness of 350 cd/m2.
This allows you to edit illustrations and photos on the pixel level. Text contour will be clear and precise. The LCD module with IPS (Wide Gamut) panel makes a viewing angle of 178 degrees possible. Colours and contrast will appear stable to the user.

The CS2420 features a high-end microchip (ASIC, Application-Specific Integrated Circuit), developed bij EIZO to meet the special needs of working with true colours. The ASICs by EIZO have their own algorithms for exact, uniform and constant colour reproduction.
Wide Gamut - ideal for RAW photos and prints
For those that work with RAW or AdobeRGB photos, a Wide Gamut monitor is essential. The wide colour gamut reproduces 99% of the Adobe RGB colour space. When you convert RAW photos to AdobeRGB, you can rest assured that the monitor will display them accurately. You can tell by the bright blue skies or vibrant green forests in your pictures.
For printing the EIZO monitor also offers huge advantages: the monitor covers almost the entire CMYK colour space (for instance ISO Coated and U.S Web Coated). On your screen you can see how the print will look, saving you on making test prints.
Constant tonality for the entire screen
Pixel by pixel, the Digital Uniformity Equalizer (DUE) sets the tonality for the entire monitor. The result: colours are displayed identically over the whole screen, without the fluctuations in brightness traditional LCDs would give. The DUE function also compensates the effect of fluctuations in colour temperature and chromaticity. You will enjoy constant luminance distribution and perfectly clear colours. This is a huge advantage when retouching images.
