The EIZO CS2400R 24-inch ColorEdge CS-series monitor is the entry-level in the ColorEdge series, combining the best picture quality, connectivity and 100 per cent sRGB/Rec709. The monitor delivers a particularly high resolution of (1920 x 1200), an excellent contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a brightness of 300 cd/m². This allows you to edit graphics and photos down to the pixel. Text outlines are also clear and precise. The LCD module with its IPS enables a viewing angle of 178 degrees. As a result, colour tones and contrast remain stable from any user viewing angle.

The CS2400R's Look-Up Table (LUT) calculates internally with a particularly high colour depth of 16 bits, after which the display produces the signals with up to 10 bits. With this configuration, billions of colour tones are available to calculate the precise display on the monitor. This prevents display errors that occur in inferior monitors, such as streaking and clipping. Staggered colour gradients and discolouration are thus a thing of the past. Subtle nuances and textures in dark or deeply saturated image areas are rendered with even more differentiation and detail using this technology.

To ensure that you can use your monitor immediately after unpacking, each ColorEdge CS2400R is individually measured and optimally adjusted at the factory. To this end, the gamma curves of the red, green and blue channels are checked in detail and corrected where necessary. Thanks to this unique factory calibration at EIZO, the monitor with its preset colour spaces is ready for use immediately after unpacking. Thanks to the comprehensive factory calibration, recalibration with the ColorNavigator also works particularly quickly.

Each individual monitor panel is precisely measured over its entire surface at the EIZO factory. If there are colour swirls or deviations in brightness homogeneity, this is recognised and corrected. This process - the Digital Uniformity Equaliser - ensures that identical colours are displayed equally throughout the monitor's lifetime, on every part of the display surface. This is the only way professionals can rely on their monitor in image processing and return work.

Every ColorEdge CS2400R comes with an individual calibration report containing the measurement results of the monitor's factory calibration. The report proves the monitor's homogeneity, gamma curve, colour space coverage and white point.
