Explore Scientific 82° Ar Eyepiece 30 mm (2")
The Explore Scientific 82° Ar Eyepiece 30 mm (2") offers features that until now you only knew from Explore Scientific's 100° eyepieces. Because this eyepiece with 82° field of view is also waterproof and filled with protective gas. This effectively prevents interior fogging, the penetration of dust and moisture, and the development of glass mould. The high-quality multicoating is thus particularly well protected and durable.
Handling is also made easier, as you can easily treat the eyepiece with cleaning fluid, and even heavy dew deposits cannot penetrate between the lenses. So this eyepiece guarantees an unclouded observing experience for many years to come! Of course, you don't have to compromise on image quality either, as the eyepiece's design ensures a sharp, high-contrast image across the entire, huge field of view - even on telescopes with a fast focal ratio. High-quality glass and black lens edges, together with EMD multicoating, ensure maximum contrast.
Moreover, a folding rubber eyecup, a standard filter thread and a tapered locking nut in the stainless steel sleeve are among the standard features of this eyepiece.
