Fomapan Action 400 is a panchromatic black-and-white negative film for 35mm cameras, especially suitable for photography in less favourable lighting conditions. As the fastest film in the Fomapan series, it is mainly intended for low-light shots or fast action. The film combines classic grain with good resolving power and sharp contours, and delivers rich grey-tone reproduction.
A special feature of Fomapan Action 400 is its wide exposure range. The film delivers good results with 1 stop overexposure at ISO 200 and 2 stops underexposure at ISO 1600, without adjustments to the development process. The resolving power is 90 lines per mm. The film is compatible with all common black-and-white developers.
