Fortinge ForPrompt Studio News has been developed for professional newsrooms and TV studios. The software connects your teleprompter directly to newsroom systems via the MOS protocol, so scripts are updated automatically. This ensures that the text on the prompter always matches the version in the newsroom, even when changes are made shortly before a broadcast.
Studio News is the most comprehensive edition within the ForPrompt series. In addition to features such as story list management, SDI output and NDI streaming, this version adds a MOS Gateway. This allows you to connect the software to newsroom systems such as ENPS, Octopus, iNews FTP, Marsis, Blaze and Dalet. Scripts are automatically retrieved and synchronised live during the broadcast.
In addition, the software offers features that are useful in a newsroom environment. Think of presenter profiles with personal settings, activity logging and multi-channel SDI output for setups with multiple teleprompters. The licence works via a USB dongle, allowing you to use the software on different Windows PCs by simply connecting the dongle.
