Description
Fujifilm X-T5 silver + XF 18-55mm
Fujifilm X-T5 silver
The Fujifilm X-T5 combines the nostalgic look and feel of analogue cameras with stunning results. The digital system camera has an analogue operating concept but delivers reliable, razor-sharp images with its 40.2 megapixel image sensor.
Super-sharp speed
The X-T5 has outstanding high-resolution image quality. The X-Trans CMOS 5 HR image sensor, together with the X-Processor 5, ensures detailed shots with beautiful Fujifilm colours. The sensor's standard sensitivity starts from ISO 125 for sharp shots with low noise. The shortest electronic shutter speed is just 1/180,000th second, so you capture movement in an instant, razor-sharp image. The low base ISO and short minimum shutter speed mean you can shoot with an open aperture for mesmerising background blur even in sunny conditions. The Pixel Shift Multi Shot option combines multiple RAW images for shots with ultra-high resolution and highly accurate colour reproduction, ideal for commercial product photography.
Video recordings also have superb resolution and sharpness. The X-T5 shoots video at 6.2K resolution at 30fps in 4:2:2 10-bit colour depth. The 4K HQ mode uses 6.2K oversampling to ensure high image quality. Support for F-LOG2 means a wide dynamic range of as much as 13+ stops.
Reliable accuracy
The autofocus system recognises different types of subjects, such as animals and vehicles, thanks to deep learning technology. The redesigned image sensor has a higher number of phase-detection pixels compared to its predecessor, for more accurate focusing. The system camera also features an AI-based auto white balance option, allowing you to enjoy detailed colour accuracy in any lighting situation. Internal image stabilisation reduces vibrations across five different axes by up to seven stops, perfect for street photographers and in poor lighting conditions.
Known and admired
As usual from the X-T series, the camera features a centralised electronic viewfinder and is equipped with all the familiar Fujifilm control buttons. The LCD screen folds out in three different directions, ideal for shooting from the hip or in the vertical position. The touchscreen on the back of the camera has a high resolution of a whopping 1.84 million pixels. The camera's body is even more compact and lighter than that of its predecessor. The lightweight, compact model weighs just 557 grams and is easy to take anywhere.
Fujifilm XF 18-55mm F/2.8-4.0 R LM OIS
The Fujifilm XF 18-55mm F/2.8-4.0 R LM OIS is a versatile and compact zoom lens that is ideal for group shots, portraits and street photography, as well as vistas, among others. As the lens is not heavy and has a compact size, you can easily take it with you. Ideal when you like shooting in different locations.
Smooth focus and reliable shots
The XF 18-55mm has a focal length of 27-84mm equivalent to 35mm format. This provides a zoom range from basic wide-angle to medium telephoto. The f/2.8-4 aperture ensures that the lens captures enough light at the varying focal lengths. Furthermore, it has three aspherical lens elements and one abnormal dispersion element, which prevents aberrations. You thus retain sharp details and accurate colours across the entire image. The optical image stabilisation system further compensates for any camera shake. Thanks to the linear motor-driven autofocus system, focusing is quick and smooth.
