It is an articulating friction arm that is usually used to attach items such as LCD monitors, LED lights, EVF viewfinders, microphones, recorders, flashes, wireless transmitters, GoPro cameras and more. Both ends feature a 1/4"-20 screw and two tightening wheels for easy attachment of accessories.
