In addition, the LaCie Rugged Mini can resist pressure; if you accidentally drive over it with a car of one ton you still have access to your files. With the Rugged Mini, you have the speed of USB 3.0, and full backward compatibility with USB 2.0, allowing you to use the drive with virtually any computer. With USB 3.0, you can transfer a 800MB video file in less than 6 seconds, compared to the 25 seconds that this takes with USB 2.0.
