The Laowa 0.7X Focal Reducer makes the angle of view of Laowa probe lenses wider when using a camera with a Super35, APS-C and Micro Four Thirds sensor. This preserves the perspective of the probe lens.
The Focal Reducer increases the crop factor on a Super35 sensor from 1.5x to 1.05x. On a Micro Four Thirds, this is from 2x to 1.4x. The maximum aperture of probe lens is increased to f/10, giving you a brighter lens.
Image quality is maintained because the Focal Reducer is made of high quality optical elements. The use of high-quality aluminium and plastic parts makes the Focal Reducer durable and lightweight.
