The Laowa 15 mm T2.1 Zero-D Cine Lens for Nikon is a prime lens with ultra-wide-angle coverage up to 110° on Full Frame cameras. It is a wide T2.1 lens on the market for large format sensors. Its small size and light weight make it a perfect companion with gimbals and run-and-gun shooting. The new Cine version comes with standard 0.8 mod gears on both aperture and focus rings. A standard 77 mm filter thread is designed to easily fit screw-in filters. The lens also features excellent optical distortion control, preserving all straight lines.

The new Laowa 15 mm T2.1 Zero-D Cine lens is perfect for shooting architecture and cityscapes. The large T/2.1 aperture also makes it extremely useful for shooting in low light. Its small size and light weight make it a perfect companion. 

The 15 mm works very well with cinema cameras with large format (full-frame) sensors. The lens contains a pair of aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements to suppress both spherical and chromatic aberrations. The bright maximum aperture of T2.1 is well suited to difficult lighting conditions. By focusing up to 15 cm away, filmmakers can compose more flexibly and create a shallow depth of field with a wider perspective.

In addition to the ultra-wide-angle field of view, it also delivers exceptional image quality with best-in-class distortion control. This near-zero distortion (Zero-D) design is extremely useful when shooting architectural, aerial and indoor shots.
