Laowa Nanomorph 80mm T2.4 1.5x S35 (Silver) Nikon Z
The Laowa Nanomorph 80mm T2.4 1.5x S35 lens (Silver) (Nikon Z) is a compact, lightweight anamorphic lens that captures high-quality organic images with 1.5x anamorphic squeeze on cameras with S35 sensors. It features telephoto compression ideal for close-ups, an aperture range from T2.4 to T16 for deep depth of field and 13 aperture blades for soft bokeh.
This prime lens has a short minimum focusing distance of 70 cm and offers anamorphic features such as oval bokeh, shallower depth of field and silver lens flares. Other features include focus markings in both foot and metre, 0.8 MOD cine gears on focus and aperture rings and a 62 mm filter thread on the front. The Nikon Z lens mount is interchangeable and can be swapped for six other separately available mounts. Use this Nanomorph prime with the separately available 1.33x adapter to achieve a squeeze ratio of 2x.
A squeeze ratio of 1.5x is a perfect balance between size and anamorphic intensity. With a squeeze ratio of 1.5x, you will have an aspect ratio of 2.66:1 on a 16:9 sensor after de-squeezing. With coverage greater than that of the S35, you can use Nanomorph lenses with minimal vignetting on certain full-frame cameras.
