The 60 megapixel full frame sensor with Triple Resolution technology provides Leica's well-known, and much-loved, image quality with exceptional Resolution. With a RAW or JPEG option in 60, 36 or 18 megapixels, the Camera is suitable for different types of photography. Whether you work with digital publications, print or fast mobile workflows, you can easily adjust your setting to what you need. Thanks to a 15-stop dynamic range, your images have beautiful contrast with bright highlights and precise details. An impressive ISO range of 50 to 100,000 ensures you can shoot in any lighting conditions with minimal noise. Built-in 5-axis Image stabilisation also comes in handy perfectly when shooting in dark environments. The new Leica Maestro IV Processor guarantees reliable and fast data processing, even with large photo or video files.

The hybrid AF system combines the power of three different technologies for lightning-fast, accurate focusing. Phase detection, depth mapping and contrast recognition keep your subject in focus. Intelligent subject recognition works perfectly when shooting or filming in dynamic scenes, tracking your subject effortlessly across the screen.

The SL3 also promises top performance for the videographer. Film in up to 8K resolution in your preferred codec such as H.365 or Apple ProRes. Professionals can use a dedicated timecode interface for professional image and sound synchronisation on set. The EyeRes® OLED viewfinder has a comprehensive optical design made of glass Lenses. What you see through the viewfinder is really what you capture. Live preview lets you fully control exposure and composition even before you take the photo. The new 3-inch touchscreen is tiltable for added convenience and makes it easier to shoot from difficult angles. Customisable FN buttons, including a new dial at the top, allow you to set up the Camera just the way you want. The Camera's interface automatically adjusts to landscape or portrait orientation depending on the camera position.

The SL3 further excels in its user-friendly interface. Every optimisation is based on improving ease of use. Improvements in ergonomics, touch-and-feel and menu navigation make working with the Camera as intuitive as possible. The newly developed graphical user interface ensures a smooth workflow and easy access to the most frequently used settings. With slots for a CFexpress Type B and UHS-II SD card, store all your images effortlessly, even the largest video files. A USB-C port provides high-speed data transfer, tethering and power. If you want to connect an external Monitor or recording devices, you can do so with the HDMI 2.1 output. Bluetooth and Wireless with MIMO technology ensure a stable, fast wireless connection with the versatile Leica FOTOS app.
