Leica 10661 SL3 Reporter
The Leica SL3 Reporter is a high-quality full-frame mirrorless camera. The Reporter is a particularly robust version of the Leica SL3. This camera has been specifically developed for the demanding conditions of reportage and press photography. Ideal for photographers looking for a camera with maximum precision, even in the most challenging conditions. It combines maximum functionality and reliability with a unique camera design. The camera offers exceptional image quality, masterful production quality and an intuitive user experience.
The 60-megapixel full-frame BSI CMOS sensor with Triple Resolution Technology delivers the image quality with exceptional resolution you expect from Leica. With RAW or JPEG options in 60, 36 or 18 megapixels, the camera is suitable for a wide range of applications. Thanks to a dynamic range of 15 stops, images have beautiful contrast with bright highlights and precise details. An ISO range of 50 to 100,000 ensures you can shoot in any lighting condition with minimal noise. The built-in 5-axis image stabilisation (IBIS) ensures sharp results, even at slower shutter speeds.
With the Leica Maestro IV processor, you benefit from fast and reliable processing of large photo and video files. The hybrid autofocus system combines phase detection, contrast detection and object recognition, allowing subjects to be focused on quickly and accurately. This makes the camera perfect for dynamic situations where precision is essential.
The SL3 Reporter also delivers impressive performance for videographers. The camera can record in resolutions up to 8K and supports multiple video formats, including H.265 and Apple ProRes. Thanks to the clear separation between photo and video settings and a convenient colour system, you can switch effortlessly between both modes.
The OLED viewfinder with 5.76 million pixels and the tilting 3.2” touchscreen with 2.3 million pixels offer a bright, detailed image. You see exactly what you capture, with full control over exposure and composition. Customisable FN buttons, including a new dial on the top, ensure you can set up the camera entirely to your liking. The interface automatically adapts to the camera’s orientation.
The Leica SL3 Reporter offers a user-friendly interface with improved ergonomics, intuitive menu navigation and smooth operation. The newly developed graphical user interface ensures a clear workflow and quick access to the most important settings.
With slots for a CFexpress Type B and UHS-II SD card, even the largest video files are stored effortlessly. The USB-C port supports high speeds for data transfer, tethering and power supply, while the HDMI 2.1 output enables connection to external monitors or recording equipment. Thanks to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (MIMO), a stable, fast wireless connection with the Leica FOTOS app is guaranteed.
The Leica SL3 Reporter has a scratch-resistant dark green colour. It is covered with aramid fibre that provides extra protection against wear. This special covering gives you improved grip, providing greater stability when photographing or filming. The design is characterised by dark green paint, black controls and the absence of the red Leica logo.
