Description
Leica now comes with the new 8x42 Trinovid HD Binocular. This is equipped with prisms with high-quality phase-correcting coating. These optical coatings work together to achieve high-contrast images and realistic color reproduction along with a minimal distortion. This optical performance is linked to a comfortable 8X magnification and generous eye-relief in order to guarantee an exciting viewing experience.
The 8x42 Trinovid HD binocular features a sturdy and corrosion-resistant magnesium alloy. That makes this binocular lightweight and easy to handle. In addition, the housing is fully equipped with a rubber coating that protects it from knocks and bumps. The anti-slip grip hereby gives a secure grip in cold or wet conditions.
The optical tubes are filled with nitrogen and sealed with O-rings. This makes the 8x42 Trinovid HD binocular fully waterproof and the optical tubes fog free. You will benefit from this during temperature fluctuations and it is also no disaster if the binocular must withstand a downpour. The Trinovid HD binocular can be equipped with the included flip-down lens caps or eyepiece rain cap. Leica has not failed to include the comfortable safety belt which can also be used as a carrying case.
