Sweet 50

Very user-friendly, the Lensbaby Sweet 50 Optic has a focal length of 50mm with a 12-blade internal aperture. The aperture is adjustable via a rotary ring on the front of the lens. The selective focus adjustment creates a sharp hot spot surrounded by a scalable soft focus environment.

The 50mm focal length allows you to capture your surroundings but also get close enough to find every detail.

Soft Focus II

The Lensbaby Soft Focus II 50mm f/2.5 optic is a 50mm lens with an aperture range of F/2.5 to F/22. The Lensbaby Soft Focus is a new, improved version of the first Optic Swap System. This lens is compatible with all current and older Lensbaby Optic Swap lens bodies. This lens has a 12-blade manually adjustable internal aperture via the unique and versatile drop-in magnetic aperture system.

At the widest aperture, Soft Focus II creates an impressionistic image with subtle sharp details underneath. With a colour palette that tends towards soft pastels at larger apertures and a remarkably flat field of focus, this optic enables pictures that no other lens can achieve. With aperture F/8 or smaller, Soft Focus II creates beautifully detailed, traditionally sharp images with a large central area of focus and blurred edges on full-frame or 35mm film cameras. Quickly changing the optical effect from impressionistic and full of glow to contrasty and sharp is possible thanks to the 12-blade internal aperture, which is set by turning the front of the optic.
