Leofoto Monopod head MPG-1
The Leofoto Monopod head MPG-1 is an innovative head specially designed to be placed on a monopod. You can use an Arca-Swiss quick release plate to mount your camera on this versatile head. This can also be done with an Arca-Swiss compatible lens base or an L-bracket. With the MPG-1, the camera is placed sideways on the monopod.
This has the advantage that you can hold the monopod firmly with one hand and comfortably operate the camera with the other. The head can pan 360° and tilt smoothly. You can lock the rotation angle with the large grey knob. It is possible to mount the tripod head directly on a Leofoto monopod by using the 3/8-inch screw hole on the bottom of the head.
Alternatively, you can combine the Arca-Swiss compatible base with, for example, a 360° panning clamp for extra flexibility. The MPG-1 head is made of hard lightweight aluminium, making this sturdy head weigh 325 grams. The MPG-1 measures 106 x 63 x 80 mm.
