Description
The Libec HFMP Tripod combines the Libec monopod with tripod base and thus creates a versatile support system when shooting with a camcorder or DSLR. The base has folded legs to create a stable, freestanding platform that allows the monopod together with the camera to rotate 360 degrees and tilt 20 degrees in any direction. A foot-activated latch is placed between the legs and the bottom of the monopod. Unlocking the latch releases the rotary and tilting movements for smooth angle or perspective adjustments. After you have captured a subject at a desired angle while holding the monopod, as well as the locked camera or a separate available video head, you can restore and re-lock the monopod to the upright position.
When the Libec Hands-Free Monopod is configured with its tripod base, it supports up to 8 kg and measures folded 73.4 cm. The monopod consists of three sections that have flip-locks for quick mounting and have a minimum height of 73.9 cm and a maximum height of 176 cm. A rubber lid along the upper section ensures for a safe and comfortable grip while moving the monopod. Rubber feet at the bottom of the legs help to improve stability on various surfaces. Tripod or monopod heads, as well as cameras, lenses or sports optics that are directly compatible with a 3/8"-16 socket, can be connected to the top of the Libec monopod. It is made of durable aluminum alloy while remaining lightweight, has an integrated wrist strap and comes with a shoulder bag.
