Lomography
Lomography is an analogue photography technique, and it really brings out the creativity in us. To ensure creativity, take a picture without thinking too long. The Lomography brand was founded. But how? In 1982, General Igor Kornitzky dumped a Japanese compact camera on the desk of his friend Mikhail, the director of the Lomo Russian Arms and Optical factory at the time. They immediately saw potential in the camera, and commissioned the LOMO factory to develop the camera. In 1984, the camera went into mass production and soon spread through Poland, Czechoslovakia and Cuba. In 1991, a group of students in Prague discovered the camera, and they were hooked on it right away. This led to the establishment of the Lomography Society (LSI) in 1992. More and more galleries were opened, and the cameras were distributed worldwide.
The possibilities with Lomography cameras are nearly infinite. Whether you have one of their analogue, instant or disposable cameras, you can go any direction with it. Short of inspiration? Or do you think you've seen it all? Then take a look at the Lomography website where there are hundreds of useful and fun articles with tips &tricks, development for beginners and much more!
