Different photography modes

The Lomography Lomo Instant Mini Black has 3 modes to shoot different types of instant photos. The Lomo'Instant has an automatic flash mode, so you can easily shoot great photos at the touch of a button. But you can also choose the two manual modes for more creative possibilities.

• Flash-On automatic mode In this mode, a sensor in the flash determines the amount of light and the light meter gives the correct flash intensity. The default aperture is f/16 and the exposure can be adjusted manually.
• Flash-On manual mode This mode is perfect for indoor photos. The flash is always on and you can switch between N (for normal shutter speed) and B for longer exposures.
• Flash-Off manual mode This mode is suitable for longer exposures in the dark or for photos in daylight. The flash is off and here too you can choose between 'N' and 'B'. Choose 'N' if you have enough light and 'B' if you want to work with slow shutter speeds.

Shooting with double exposures

The camera has a built-in wide-angle lens and is compatible with various lens mounts for creative and experimental photography options that can be easily screwed onto the Lomo'Instant. With the Lomo'Instant's B setting, you can create beautiful streaks of light by leaving the shutter open as long as you want. For example, try it at night or for light painter photo shoots. The Lomo'Instant is the only modern instant camera that can shoot double exposures. This means you can combine different shots in 1 frame! Choose between blue, red, purple and yellow with colour filters! Placing the filters over your flash allows you to play with cool or warm tones.

Always clear photos

With a maximum aperture of f/8, the Lomo'Instant Camera has the widest aperture setting in the instant photography world. Shooting at f/8 will almost always give you clear photos. And if you want to have every detail in focus, choose an aperture of f/22, for example. The Lomo'Instant Camera has a small mirror to the left of the lens. In combination with the wide-angle lens, you can take picture-perfect selfies.
