The CD60 has been expertly tuned by Marantz's legendary sound master, so you rest assured of the finest musical sound. For an optimal sound field, the HDAM circuit has been optimised by placing the components symmetrically on the audio board and creating a more direct signal path. Fast, high-voltage Schottky diodes, higher-voltage storage capacitors, and improved voltage regulators over previous (comparable) models provide improved voltage stability and reduced noise with intensive use.

In addition to CDs, the CD60 also plays various digital file formats from USB sources, including MP3, WMA, as well as high-quality audio formats such as FLAC, ALAC, AIFF (up to 192 kHz/24 bits) and DSD (up to 5.6 mHz). So sit back, and listen to your favourite music in optimal quality.
