The Nanlite Forza 500B II bi-colour LED lamp is exceptionally compact and lightweight but delivers 67320 Lux at 1 metre with the included reflector and has the versatility of an adjustable colour temperature range of 2700K-6500K. It is made for professional production with a durable construction, control options for Bluetooth, 2.4GHz and DMX/RDM, a frosted glass-protected COB, a completely redesigned yoke and a control unit that can run on AC or side-mounted 26V or 14.4V-14.8V V-Mount batteries (sold separately). It has a very accurate CRI rating of 96 and a TLCI of 97, and you can easily adjust the shift from green to magenta by +/- 80, which is made possible by the WW(RG) LED source and light mixing chamber.

The 500B II has all the improvements and enhancements of the Forza II line. The control unit is 16 per cent smaller, can operate on a single V-Mount battery and has no fan. The daylight-only Forza 500 II is only about 2 per cent brighter. The supplied cables are considerably longer: 6 m for the power cable, 3 m for the main cable, and even longer main cables are available separately. It is compatible with a wide range of Bowens Mount light modifiers, including Nanlite's own offering. A handy 55° reflector is included, and with the FL-20G Fresnel (sold separately), output increases to 17400 Lux at 3 metres.

A stepless, one-way locking system allows easy positioning, and an umbrella attachment gives you more light-shaping options. The improved yoke allows 360° rotation, it is curved to provide a greater tilt range for large modifiers, and the base is compatible with baby pin and junior pin mounts. Dimming can be precisely adjusted in 0.1 per cent increments. The main fan has 4 modes: Smart, Full Speed, Low Speed and Off for absolute silence. A redesigned padded carrying case with improved cushioning keeps everything safe. A USB port allows firmware updates that will add new features in the future, and can supply power to wireless DMX receivers (sold separately).
