Everything about network players & tuners
Progress
The quality of LED TVs and other displays in the area of Home Cinema has increased impressively, but this equally applies to the area of audio. Because as well as the fantastic gems which Blu-Ray and SA-CD players have to offer for music lovers, in the area of audio there are numerous file formats which, with the right equipment, can mean a considerable increase in quality for the living room.
DAB +
The tuners which still surprise music lovers from the ether with the latest new recordings in pop, jazz or classical have received a similar boost in possibilities, just as some table radios. Even stations unreachable in a normal way can now be listened to in extremely high quality, thanks to the pure undistorted signals which are converted via DAB+ technology in network players from for instance Marantz and Onkyo.
Ultimate audio experience
Whether it concerns music files on hard drives or NAS systems, media formats such as iPhones and other smartphones: Network players such as Onkyo, Denon and Marantz offer an affordable solution for creating a link from those digital files to the most ultimate audio experience. In addition to large audiotheques such as iTunes, Spotify and Napster, streaming of fantastic music - for some Marantz models even without disruptive breaks - gives a unique mix of quality and comfort.
Streaming
From files of personal audioplayers such as MP3 and other digital formats, via Wi-Fi, USB or DLNA, a selection can be played at any desired moment, which is very handy for parties in particular. However, albums stored in the cloud, a NAS storage system or portable Harddisk can be converted without a problem into perfect audio reproduction via many models from Denon, Marantz and Onkyo. Thanks to the USB-B option with a few models from for instance Marantz, the asynchronous mode offers almost studio quality connections and PCs also recognize such a player as an HQ sound card.
Sound design
The design of almost all the network players has been attuned to that of customary HiFi systems so that they connect seamlessly for most receivers, amplifiers or AV receivers. For one or two network players from Onkyo, a CD player has also been integrated, which not only offers optimum connections but also saves on space and possible new equipment.
