Description
Nikon D780 body + AF-S 50mm F/1.8G
The Nikon D780 is the long-awaited successor to the D750. Where the D750 was already a great entry-level full-frame camera, the D780 goes a step further. This full-frame SLR camera combines the advantages of a DSLR with all the technology of today. In short, a professional and modern FX camera.
Take the ultimate photo with the 24.5 megapixel BSI CMOS sensor. Thanks to the EXPEED 6 image processor, the camera has an enormous dynamic range which ensures that you shoot clear photos. Even in low light, because the ISO range is 100 to 51,200 and expandable to 204,800. With shutter speeds from 1/8000th to 900 seconds, you can freeze every movement or create the most beautiful light trails in a dark environment.
The D780 offers tremendous flexibility with its Hybrid AF system for live views and phase-detection autofocus for when shooting through the optical viewfinder. So there are two autofocus systems so that you as a photographer can literally go in all directions. Live view provides 273 eye-detection AF points and the viewfinder uses Nikon's powerful 51-point AF system with excellent tracking capabilities. Thanks to this flexibility, you are assured of a sharp image in every situation.
The burst function captures action moments at the right time. The D780 shoots at a speed of 7 frames per second with AF/AE through the viewfinder. You can also shoot up to 12fps with the silent live view photography mode. Of course in full resolution, in RAW. Even faster? Which can. Put the camera in live view and take Full HD photos (2MP) at 120fps or 4K photos (8MP) at 30fps. Never miss a moment.
The D780 features a weather-resistant rugged body that makes it suitable for any type of photography. The camera has room for two UHS-II SD cards to quickly and properly store the large camera files in burst mode. The developed grip makes it a nice camera to hold in your hand. The long battery life makes the D780 ideal for taking on the road all day long.
Movie in 4K UHD at 30 frames per second or Full HD slow motion up to 120p. With the image sensor resolution of 6K, you get beautifully sharp 4K recordings. 10-Bit 4K UHD and N-log recordings are possible with an external recorder. Film with N-log and enjoy the creative freedom that the 12-stop dynamic range gives you. You can easily create beautiful timelapses and create an unprecedented depth of field thanks to the focus stacking function.

Nikon AF-S 50mm F/1.8G
The Nikon AF-S 50mm F/1.8G has a large maximum aperture of f/1.8 for a clear viewfinder image and a beautifully defocused background with a shallow depth of field. The lens is also equipped with Nikon's Silent Wave Motor (SWM) for quiet, fast and accurate focusing. This also makes autofocus possible with entry-level DSLR cameras without a built-in AF motor. The large maximum aperture of f/1.8 makes Nikon's new 50mm lens ideally suited for low-light situations or when a shallow depth of field is required.
You can ‘isolate’ to capture portraits with a smooth bokeh effect or razor-sharp shots in low light. The wide aperture also provides a bright viewfinder image, making it easier to compose your compositions. The brand new optical design includes seven elements in six groups, including one aspherical element for very high image quality. The special Silent Wave Motor (SWM) ensures discreet but accurate autofocus. Compatible with Nikon FX-format SLRs, the SWM offers a focal length of 75mm (equivalent) when used with Nikon DX-format SLRs, such as the D5100 or D3100.
Features of the Nikon AF-S 50mm F/1.8G:
- Focal length: 50mm
