.The Nikon MC-DC3 Remote Cord is a remote cord with shutter release function, ideal for preventing camera shake when shooting with your Nikon Z mirrorless camera. Connect the cord to the headphone jack/remote cable connector on your Camera and you can relax the Camera's shutter without touching the camera body.
Ideal for any situation where you want to remotely relax the shutter, including long exposure (bulb), night photography, macro photography and close-ups.
The shutter release button on the cable works the same way as the shutter release button on the camera, both when pressed halfway and when pressed fully. The remote also has a lock to keep the shutter button pressed continuously, useful for long exposures and serial shots.
