Description
Nikon Z 135mm F/1.8 S-line Plena
The Nikon Z 135mm F/1.8 S-line Plena is an addition to Nikon's S-Line lenses. This premium full-frame lens with a focal length of 135 millimetres enables you to create a beautiful bokeh effect in both photos and videos. Professional photographers use this lens to take the most beautiful shots with incredible depth and creativity, whether you specialise in fine-art, portraits, high fashion or nature. The Plena offers all-round optical perfection.
The large Nikon Z-mount provides a host of possibilities and the Plena embraces these capabilities and uses them to create true circular bokeh, even in the extreme corners of the image. With the compression of the 135-millimetre focal length, the subject stand out perfectly against the background. Even when shooting from a short distance or with an open aperture against complex backgrounds, you can capture the finest details with crystal-clear sharpness against a fabulous bokeh.
The Plena lens offers high image reproduction and edge-to-edge brightness at F/1.8 that surpasses other S-line lenses. The combination of a rounded 11-blade aperture and complex optical construction counteracts aberrations. For instance, there is no need to reduce the aperture to avoid vignetting. This makes it possible to take photos of point light sources with an open aperture of F/1.8 without losing sharpness, brightness or their round shape. Arrow-shaped and coma light spots are also prevented in backlit bokeh.
The Nikon Z 135mm F/1.8 features fast, accurate autofocus for exceptionally smoothly focusing. This is true of every focusing distance, even at the largest aperture when sharpness is lowest. Weighing 995g and with customisable controls, Plena is also easy to handle, whether you're shooting handheld or from a tripod.
