With the 20.4-megapixel Stacked BSI Live MOS sensor, you enjoy image quality that is not inferior to full-frame mirrorless cameras. This 4/3 sensor offers impressive resolution and superb colour reproduction. The whisper-quiet shutter also enables you to work discreetly, which is a requirement when capturing birds and wildlife.

Using AI, autofocus has been improved over the OM-1 so in addition to animals and vehicles, you can now also track people. This is done using artificial intelligence that enables the camera to keep tracking people's faces and eyes when they are out of view, for example when the subject turns around.

With the OM-1 II, you really don't have to miss a single moment. In the nnew ProCapture mode, you capture images in 120fps as soon as you half-press the shutter button. To do this, the buffer on the OM System OM-1 II has more than doubled. You now take 213 photos before the buffer is full. This allows you to capture images for 4 seconds with continuous autofocus! These photos are captured in 14-bit, compared to 10-bit with the OM-1.

You can work in all weather conditions with the OM-1 II. The camera features an advanced seal system that protects against water, cold and dust. The camera also features the LiveGND function, a built-in ND filter up to 128ND that gives you even more control over the exposure in your images.

The size and weight of the body also make the OM-1 II  ideal for vlogs and short videos for social media. You can also shoot vertically with the OM-1 II, which automatically rotates images. That avoids the need to rotate it in post-processing.
