Panasonic Lumix DC-G100D

The Panasonic Lumix DC-G100D is the successor to the G100, resembling its predecessor in many ways but with some fine new features.

The G100D is a lightweight system camera perfect for vloggers and content creators. The camera lets you shoot in 4K Ultra HD at 30fps and provides tight, professional images thanks to its powerful 5-axis hybrid image stabiliser. Ideal if you're on the move a lot while filming. The G100 has an LCD viewfinder, but the G100D has an improved OLED variant. This provides a brighter, more colourful see-through with more contrast.

Like its predecessor, the G100D is equipped with several advanced features. Use the Video Selfie mode to capture both yourself and the background in perfect focus. Use one of the special video effects or the Time Lapse and Slow motion options to take your videos to the next level. You can record at up to 120fps in Full HD. Experienced vloggers will be happy to know that the camera also offers VLogL recording and LUT (Look Up Table) functionality.

The camera not only delivers great images, but also good sound thanks to the integrated OZO Audio by Nokia sound system. The three internal microphones track your voice and capture clear sound. The camera automatically selects the right sound mode for every situation. So you can leave your external microphone at home.

The G100D also now features a USB-C 2.0 port ideal for faster charging and transferring your files to and from your camera faster.

Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-32mm F/3.5-5.6 black

The Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-32mm F/3.5-5.6 offers superb image quality and is incredibly compact. In addition, it is extendable despite its versatile focal length of 12-32mm (comparable to 24-64mm on a 35mm camera). With a wide angle starting at 24mm, this lens is suitable for a wide variety of shots, from dynamic landscapes to snapshots. The new lens system, consisting of eight elements in seven groups, uses three aspherical lenses. As a result, the overall length has been significantly reduced without sacrificing optical quality. The ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lens also minimises chromatic aberration in the corners across the entire zoom range. To produce an even smaller lens, each element was made as thin as possible and placed as close together as possible. Also, two lens groups act as O.I.S (optical image stabiliser) by shifting relative to each other. This is the first time this technique has been used in a digital interchangeable lens for the LUMIX G series. Moving the two lens groups requires power. This is provided by a specially developed drive motor.

Panasonic's Mega O.I.S. (optical image stabiliser) ensures extremely sharp shots even in telephoto mode or low ambient light. This is because the image stabiliser suppresses blur caused by hand shake. The 12-32mm F/3.5-5.6 features an internal focusing system and a stepping motor. This makes the fast and high-precision Contrast AF system very quiet when shooting both stills and video. The lens is also compatible with sensor drive at up to 240fps to take full advantage of cameras with an ultra-fast AF system, such as the DMC-GM1.
