The Panasonic Lumix DC-G9 is a top model of the Lumix G cameras, with the best image quality so far combined with perfect mobility and ultra-fast shooting. This makes this system camera the perfect choice for nature and activity photography. The G9 features a 20.3 megapixel Digital Live MOS sensor without a low-pass filter, which improves resolution, colour gradations and colour reproduction. The Venus Engine processor uses the advanced multipixel luminance generation and intelligent detail processing features highly accurate and impressively natural images. With the new High Resolution mode, you'll also create stunning 80 megapixels (10368x7776) equivalent images in JPEG and RAW format, merging eight consecutive images as the sensor moves. Thanks to a special AR coating on the sensor, ghosting and flaring are limited, ideal for shooting in difficult conditions with, for example, backlight.

The Body I.S. (Image Stabilizer) of the Lumix G9 has been further improved thanks to a new algorithm to be able to take stable images from the hand even when you are shooting with a longer shutter speed. It is now possible to take shots with shutter speeds that are up to 6.5 stops lower with the same sharp results. The G9 also has the world's fastest focus speed of just 0.04 seconds and fast AF tracking performance that makes it easy to track your subject. For accurate focus, the number of focus areas has been increased from 49 to 225. You can build a group out of these 225 points and then move or change size depending on the composition you want. A leading frame rate of 20fps is possible at full resolution with continuous autofocus (AF-C), when you focus at the first frame (AF-S) then you benefit from an impressive burst speed of 60fps. Plus, the G9 has a blackoutless Live View Finder, making it the best mirrorless camera for sharply capturing moving subjects.
The Panasonic Lumix DC-G9 is equipped with an LCD screen on top that allows you to view the settings at a glance and quickly change the settings using the function lever (Fn). Furthermore, the camera is equipped with a joystick and very conveniently positioned dials. Thanks to a full magnesium alloy cast front and rear frame, this camera is prepared for all weather conditions. It is splash-proof and dustproof and frost resistant to -10 degrees Celsius. The two SD memory card slots are both compatible with the fast UHS-II format and can be used as desired; as additional storage, as a backup slot or for different types of media. To quickly share your images, you can use Bluetooth and Wi-Fi functionality.
