The Panasonic LUMIX G9II is the first LUMIX camera with fast, precise Phase Detection AF. With 779 focus points, the camera tracks your subject through the image very accurately. Even in conditions that are normally difficult for an AF system such as backlighting or low light, focus is still razor-sharp and lightning fast. The autofocus detection is also greatly improved and recognises people, animals and vehicles. New AI recognition technology delivers more accurate focusing in scenes with multiple people and recognises people and animals separately. The option for an extra small focus point and AF Micro Adjustments enable you to be very precise.

Combined with super-fast focusing, the extensive burst capabilities mean you won't miss a single moment of action. The electronic shutter lets you shoot up to 75 frames per second! With the enhanced buffer memory, you can shoot continuously for up to about three seconds. Even during burst shooting, the screen does not black out. Rolling-shutter effect is prevented for sharp photos without image distortion. With the enhanced Pre-Burst Shooting option, you can go back in time for the perfect photo, so you'll always capture the perfect moment.

Excellent stabilisation makes the G9II perfect for handheld shooting. 8.0-stop B.I.S. and 7.5-stop 5-axis Dual I.S. provide powerful vibration correction in low light or when using a telephoto lens. A new addition is the Active I.S. technology, which corrects vibrations when you move. The combination of Advanced E.I.S and Active I.S delivers smooth images: ideal for every active videographer and photographer.

The G9II also makes it easy to shoot top-quality videos. With 4K resolution and 120fps, you can capture the sharpest images, even in slow motion. The 10-bit colour depth provides rich, bright colours that are still true to nature. Shooting-assist features such as frames that show what you're filming or how your image will look when you make a vertical crop simplify shooting. Advanced shooting settings such as 13+ stops, V-log or V-gamut provide additional colour control. The new real-time LUT recording capability help simplify your workflow and record photos and videos with a LUT in the camera itself. USB-SSD recording supports  professional video formats such as ALL-intra Recording and ProRes Recording.

The camera is weatherproof, lightweight and durable. Its design with intuitive controls lets you focus on the photography itself. A dual SD slot and compatibility with UHS-II/V90 mean there is plenty of fast memory. The Panasonic Lumix G Leica DG 100-400mm F/4.0-6.3 II is a compact, lightweight lens with a long range. With an equivalent focal length of 200-800mm, this lens is ideal for wildlife, sports and action photography. It is even possible to extend the focal length with a teleconverter. On a full frame camera, you would then end up with a maximum focal length of 1120mm or 1600mm. Despite its long range, the lens weighs just 985g, making it easy to carry around all day.

Another great plus is that this lens is also suitable for macro photography. With a maximum magnification of 0.5x and a huge zoom range, you can capture the smallest of subjects and render them large. By incorporating state-of-the-art Leica components into the lens, it yields high image quality over the full range. Enhanced focus tracking lets you capture even the fastest subjects in sharp focus. An additional feature is the Zoom Limit Switch with which you can limit the lens' zoom range. Saving both your time and battery.
