This hybrid mirrorless camera offers virtually unlimited video recordings in various circumstances. From streaming and ready-to-go recordings, to uncompressed V-log L 12 stop recordings of dynamic range - suitable for advanced post-processing. For example, it is possible to produce Cinema 4K/4K 60p 4:2:0 10-bit videos with simultaneous 4K 4:2:2 10-bit image output via HDMI. The sensor with Anti-Reflection coating captures all details clearly, and yields excellent lens performance. In addition, the Venus Engine has undergone an update, making it even faster and more powerful.

The Lumix DC-GH5 II has a fast and extremely accurate autofocus. It features state-of-the-art deep learning technology that can detect humans, dogs, cats and birds. When taking pictures of people, the camera not only recognises eyes, faces and bodies but also heads only, based on real-time detection technology. Giving even more precision focus. In addition, the Body I.S. is further enhanced, as a 6.5 stop slower shutter speed can now be used for handheld shooting.
This mirrorless camera's 3.0 inch tilt and swivel display has also been improved. Utilise an aspect ratio of 3:2 and a high resolution of 1,840,000 pixels, yielding excellent clarity and colour rendering for outdoor shots.

The robust housing has a fully cast magnesium alloy front and rear frame, making it ideal for intensive use. In addition, the body is splash & dust proof, and can withstand temperatures down to -10 degrees Celsius. The Lumix DC-GH5 II is compatible with Bluetooth 4.2 and both 5GHz (IEEE802.11ac) and 2.4GHz (IEEE802.11b/g/n) Wi-Fi. Wireless livestreaming is possible via the easy-to-use LUMIX Sync app.
