Description
Panasonic Lumix DC-GH7 body + 12-60mm F/2.8-4.0 Leica DG Vario-Elmarit
The Panasonic LUMIX GH7 is the next-generation system camera that meets the needs of the discerning videographer. Among its features are a 25.2-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, improved autofocus, ProRes RAW internal recording and 32-bit float recording. This camera offers everything you need as an image maker.
Flexibility and creativity
You have a choice of different aspect ratios, such as 4:3, 16:9, 1:1 and 9:16, when taking your images. Filming is done in 5.7K at 60 fps and 5.8K at 30 fps, among others. You also have the option of High Resolution Slow Motion in 4K at 120 fps in 4:2:0 10bit and Full HD at 240 fps in 4:2:2 10bit. Burst shots this camera shoots in 60 fps in Auto Focus Continuous mode and 75 fps in Auto Focus Single Mode. You will have a large buffer of 3 seconds in this and the image will not drop out in the process.
You can fully customise your videos and photos using the Real Time LUT. This lets you create your own filters and the style you want to give your recordings. You can save up to 39 LUTs on your camera for later use. Through the LUMIX lab app, you can easily share all your images and download LUTs from other users.
Always sharp and stable images
The GH7's autofocus can recognise, identify, track and keep subjects in focus with ease. Subjects like people, animals, cars, motorbikes, trains and planes, the camera handles it with ease. The moment there are both animals and people in focus, the camera recognises both separately. The autofocus goes even further. You can even bring specific parts of the subject into focus. In vehicles, you can focus on the driver's face, in trains on the driver's cabin and in planes on the cockpit.
Whether filming or shooting, your shots will always be sharp and stable. The 7.5-stop (dual) 5-axis image stabilisation prevents motion blur in your photos. You also have several image stabilisation modes at your disposal, including Active I.S. that lets you shoot stable images even in active situations and E.I.S. that corrects perspective distortion.
Efficient sharing with the outside world
The Panasonic LUMIX GH7 is immensely reliable. It is robust thanks to its dust- and water-resistant body that can withstand even extreme weather conditions. In addition, the camera has a built-in cooling fan to dissipate excess heat and keep you filming for longer. The touchscreen is both tiltable and rotatable and features high contrast and high brightness and visibility, even in the most extreme sunlight.
Sharing your files is a snap. In fact, you can create a proxy file while filming. This file ensures that your file is reduced in size and can be transferred faster. In addition, you have the option of Frame.io Camera to Cloud, which allows you to easily move your files to the Frame.io platform. This way, everyone involved in the project can access these images. You can also live stream very easily with this Panasonic GH7. This can be done wirelessly via the LUMIX Sync app via USB tethering between the camera and your smartphone.
This Panasonic GH7 camera has received a software upgrade key (DMW-SFU3A). This upgrade enables ARRI LogC3 and allows seamless colour matching with ARRI's digital cinema cameras. Log recording options, rich colour information and wide dynamic range have also been expanded in the process, giving you even better workflow compatibility with the GH7.
Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 12-60mm F2.8-F4
The Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 12-60mm F2.8-F4 can be used for a number of situations, from impressive landscapes to portraits, but can also be used to create an unfocussed effect. The lens has a large aperture and the Power O.I.S (Optical Image Stabilizer) effectively compensates blur, making recording a breeze, even in low-light conditions. The lens can be used with the Dual I.S (Image Stabilizer), 5-axis I.S.2 and 5-axis Dual I.S system, when mounted to a Lumix mirrorless camera.
The new lens is a good fit for video, with a quiet inner focus drive system and a micro-step drive system for smooth aperture adjustments to compensate for changes in brightness. The optical design provides exceptional stability, preventing movement of image while zooming as much as possible. Additionally, the lens is dust and water resistant and can withstand freezing temperatures as low as -10.
