Audio is recorded in 32-bit, with the option to add external microphones. Your videos are always stable thanks to 5-axis image stabilisation. The Panasonic DC-S1 Mark II E has a new video format, namely 'Cinemascope', which has a 2.4:1 format. You can use this for different frame rates without having to crop.

Razor-sharp photos with impressive resolution
With a 24.2 megapixel CMOS full frame sensor, you capture every detail in stunning quality. With High Resolution mode, you can shoot photos up to no less than 96 megapixels. The RAW file is then 12,000 x 8,000 pixels. Ideal for landscape photos where even the smallest details are visible. You can also use 6.4K Open Gate, LUT, Cinelike A2 for your photos.

The Panasonic DC-S1 Mark II E features an extremely fast and accurate autofocus system: 779 phase detection points and 315 contrast detection points, powered by AI tracking. So you never miss that one decisive moment again. The camera also features a new autofocus option, 'Urban Sports', which lets you easily capture people breakdancing, skateboarding and doing parkour.

The Panasonic LUMIX S 18mm F/1.8 is an ultra-wide-angle lens with a 100° angle of view. Thanks to this wide angle of view, this lens is suitable for various applications, such as landscape, astro and architectural photography. In addition, the minimum focusing distance of 0.18 metres provides more possibilities when shooting close-ups. The lens construction consists of 13 lens elements in 12 groups, including three aspherical lenses, three ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) lenses, one UED (Ultra Extra-Low Dispersion) lens and one UHR (Ultra High Refractive Index) lens. The three aspherical lenses ensure superior image performance and the three ED lenses suppress chromatic aberration. In addition, the large F/1.8 aperture with nine aperture blades offers beautiful bokeh effects. The lens works smoothly and quietly with the camera's fast AF system, as the digital signal between the camera and lens is exchanged at up to 240 fps. When focusing manually, the focus point shifts in non-linear mode by a variable amount, depending on the speed at which the focus ring is turned. In linear mode, the focus point shifts by a fixed amount, depending on how far the focus ring is turned. When recording videos, a mechanism in the lens suppresses 'focus breathing'. Combined with micro-step aperture control, which allows exposure to be adjusted smoothly, this mechanism enables professional-quality video recordings. Due to the compact design and low weight of 340 grams, the LUMIX S 18mm F/1.8 is easy to take with you. In addition, the robust, dust- and splash-resistant design can withstand even harsh conditions down to -10 degrees Celsius.
