The Phase Hybrid autofocus ensures that subjects are tracked quickly and accurately. The dedicated AI tracking technology effortlessly recognises eyes, people, animals and vehicles, allowing you to quickly capture pin-sharp photos and record smooth videos. The Panasonic Lumix S1RM2E  features 5-axis internal stabilisation with 8.0 stops of compensation, Dual I.S. with 7 stops of compensation in telephoto mode, plus additional electronic stabilisation for video.

Finally, the Panasonic Lumix S1RM2E offers practical control options for the most efficient workflow possible. The body is dust- and splash-resistant and can also be used in freezing temperatures. The display can both rotate and tilt and can be operated via the touchscreen or the small joystick. The dual card slot supports both an SD card and a CFexpress card. All this in a relatively compact design weighing 795 grams.

The Panasonic LUMIX S 18mm F/1.8 is an ultra-wide-angle lens with a 100° angle of view. Thanks to this wide angle of view, this lens is suitable for a variety of applications, such as landscape, astro and architecture photography. In addition, the minimum focusing distance of 0.18 metres gives you more possibilities when shooting close-ups. The lens construction consists of 13 lens elements in 12 groups, including three aspherical lenses, three ED (Extra-Low Dispersion) lenses, one UED (Ultra Extra-Low Dispersion) lens and one UHR (Ultra High Refractive Index) lens. The three aspherical lenses ensure superior image performance and the three ED lenses suppress chromatic aberration. In addition, the large F/1.8 aperture with nine aperture blades delivers beautiful bokeh effects. The lens works smoothly and quietly with the camera’s fast AF system, as the digital signal between the camera and lens is exchanged at up to 240 fps. When focusing manually, the focus point shifts in non-linear mode by a variable amount, depending on the speed at which the focus ring is turned. In linear mode, the focus point shifts by a fixed amount, depending on how far the focus ring is turned. When recording videos, a mechanism in the lens suppresses focus breathing. Combined with micro-step aperture control, which allows exposure to be adjusted smoothly, this mechanism enables professional-quality video recordings. Thanks to the compact design and low weight of 340 grams, the LUMIX S 18mm F/1.8 is easy to take with you. In addition, the robust, dust- and splash-resistant design can withstand tough conditions down to -10 degrees Celsius.
