The Panasonic Lumix DC-S5 IIX is an addition to the popular LUMIX S series. This mirrorless camera delivers incredible photo and video performance in an attractive, compact design. Compared to the LUMIX S5 II, the LUMIX S5 IIX goes a step further for professional videographers with its sleek matte-black design. The S5 IIX features a 24-megapixel 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor that captures plenty of light and delivers razor-sharp images. Combined with the advanced image processor, the sensor provides outstanding image quality for both photography and video recording.

Reliable Autofocus and Stabilisation

For the first time in the LUMIX line-up, the redesigned image sensor supports hybrid phase-detection autofocus. This hybrid autofocus system combines phase detection and contrast detection for fast and reliable focusing. The new system can easily recognise subjects, even in challenging conditions such as low light. Once focus is locked, it continues tracking the subject across the frame. Continuous autofocus is also available while zooming, along with AF micro adjustments.

The LUMIX S5 IIX features significantly improved image stabilisation, allowing you to capture stable and professional-looking footage handheld. Active Image Stabilisation is especially useful in challenging situations such as using a telephoto lens or filming while walking. It delivers exceptionally stable video by optimising horizontal, vertical and rotational correction.

Exceptional Video Performance

This mirrorless camera offers exceptional video capabilities comparable to the LUMIX S1H. Record in 4:2:0 10-bit 6K (3:2) and 5.9K (16:9) at 30fps, as well as 4:2:2 C4K/4K at 60fps. Easily shoot in High Frame Rate mode at up to 120fps and capture slow-motion footage at up to 180fps. A variety of colour profiles are available, including 14+ stop V-Log and V-Gamut. Support for the REAL TIME LUT function allows you to upload colour correction LUTs to an SD card and apply them directly in-camera instead of during post-production.

For Serious Videographers

The S5 IIX goes even further than the S5 II when it comes to video features. The LUMIX S5 IIX can record 5.8K Apple ProRes and C4K RAW or All-Intra footage directly to an SSD or external recorder. The camera supports both wireless and wired IP streaming as well as USB tethering. The S5 IIX records in C4K 30p 4:2:2 10-bit, while the S5 II records in 4:2:0. In addition, 4K S&Q Slow Motion is captured with 4:2:2 chroma subsampling for excellent colour depth. Professional tools such as Waveform Monitor, Vector Scope and Zebra Pattern are included. Features such as System Frequency (24.00Hz) and Synchro Scan further enhance its suitability for professional productions.

Excellent Photos with Minimal Workflow

The camera includes a variety of features designed to deliver excellent photographs with minimal post-processing. Functions such as AWB Lock, MF Assist and the new Live Crop feature create a highly refined shooting experience. HDMI Type-A and USB 3.2 Gen 2 connections provide extensive connectivity options. Thanks to 5GHz Wi-Fi, you can quickly and reliably connect wirelessly to smartphones and tablets. Dual UHS-II memory card slots ensure you always have ample storage space available.

Joby Compact Advanced Kit

The Joby Compact Advanced Kit is a full-featured tripod suitable for a wide range of shooting applications, from video and vlogging to photography. The tripod features a smart three-way head, allowing you to position your camera or smartphone with greater precision. This kit is ideal for users who want a single tripod for both a mirrorless or DSLR camera and a smartphone.

A key advantage of this kit is the included phone mount. The mount features two accessory shoes, allowing you to attach, for example, a microphone on one side and a light on the other. The mount rotates within its attachment point, enabling quick switching between horizontal and vertical shooting. The clamp accommodates smartphones with widths ranging from 6.7 to 8.8 cm. The tripod supports up to 3 kg, making it suitable for light to medium camera setups. Folded down, it remains compact enough for easy transport, while extending to a maximum height of 165 cm when in use. Thanks to the built-in spirit level, five-section legs and 360-degree movement range, you can work more accurately on a variety of surfaces and in different shooting scenarios.
