Made for the L-mount system, the Lumix S 70-300mm F/4.5-5.6 MACRO OIS features an advanced optical construction with 17 lens elements in 11 groups. A UED (Ultra Extra-low Dispersion) lens, two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses and a UHR (Ultra-High Refractive Index) lens reduce both axial chromatic aberration in telephoto mode, and chromatic aberration in wide angle mode. With a minimum focusing distance of 0.54m, this lens achieves a maximum magnification of 0.5x, allowing you to shoot macro photos and videos up to 50% compared to actual size. In addition, the 11-blade diaphragm provides a nice, round bokeh.
The Lumix S 70-300mm F/4.5-5.6 MACRO OIS is also suitable for video recording thanks to a mechanism that minimises focus breathing and suppresses focus shift while zooming. This means your subject always stays in focus.
