The Panasonic Lumix S 20-60mm F/3.5-5.6 L-mount is a compact and lightweight standard zoom lens that is extremely versatile thanks to its zoom range of 20mm to 60mm. The wide viewing angle at 20mm makes this lens ideal in locations where space is limited and 60mm is ideal for portraits, for example. The Lumix S 20-60mm F/3.5-5.6 has a minimum focusing distance of only 15 centimeters and also captures smooth video images without any problems. This is made possible by a mechanism that suppresses focus breathing. The optical construction consists of 11 lenses in 9 groups, and the use of two aspherical lenses and three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses suppresses both axial chromatic aberration and chromatic aberration due to magnification. The aspherical lenses also correct for astigmatism, producing extremely bright images. In addition, a UHR (Ultra-High Refractive Index) lens provides uniform image quality from the center to the edges of the image.
