In addition to creating your own presets, you can also choose to download presets via the LUMIX Lab app. Your shots can be transferred quickly and easily to your smartphone thanks to improved connection speed and stability. This uses a new recording format: MP4 Lite. This is an Open Gate video mode optimised for smartphones. Within 30 seconds, your photo or video is online, exactly the way you want it.

Extend your reach with crop and hybrid zoom

You can extend the zoom range of the Panasonic S9 while maintaining image quality. This is possible with the crop zoom function and the hybrid zoom function. The crop zoom function uses the centre of the camera sensor to extend the normal zoom range. The hybrid zoom function uses both optical and crop zoom to increase the focal length even further.
