The Panasonic Lumix S9 is the perfect system camera for image-makers who are often on the move and want to share their creations with the world online quickly and easily. This S9 has an ultra-light and compact design but boasts the power of full frame. The camera has a 24.2 megapixel full frame sensor and you can use a wide range of L-mount lenses.

The camera features real-time recognition autofocus with PDAF (Phase Detection Auto-Focus), allowing you to easily and accurately track subjects like people, animals and vehicles. There is also built-in 5-axis Dual I.S.2 image stabilisation, offering up to 6.5 stops. The I.S. image stabilisation delivers 5 stops of stabilisation. You can also take stable handheld shots, thanks to Active I.S. image stabilisation, which reduces blur caused by camera shake.

The Panasonic Lumix S9 works closely with your smartphone. You can create your own so-called 'signature presets' on the smartphone. These signature presets are certain colour styles you have created in advance. By then transferring these to the S9, you can immediately apply them to the photos and videos you take. This saves time in post-processing. As well as being able to create your own presets, you can also choose to download the presets via the LUMIX Lab app. Your recordings are quick and easy to transfer to your smartphone thanks to improved connection speed and stability. A new recording format is used for this: MP4 Lite. This is an Open Gate video mode optimised for smartphones. Within 30 seconds, your photo or video is online, just the way you want it.

You can expand the zoom range of the Panasonic S9 while maintaining image quality. This is possible through crop zoom function and the hybrid zoom function. The crop zoom function uses the centre of the camera sensor to extend the normal zoom range. The hybrid zoom function uses both the optical and crop zoom to extend the focal length even further.

The Panasonic Lumix S 35mm f/1.8 is a wide-angle lens with fixed focal length and large aperture. This makes the lens versatile. For instance, it lends itself perfectly to street and portrait photography, but is also great for video recording.

With its large aperture of f/1.8, the lens performs excellently in difficult lighting conditions. It also delivers beautiful bokeh for a sense of space and depth in your photos and video. Accurate autofocus ensures an enjoyable and fast workflow. Focus breathing suppression and seamless exposure control ensure you capture smooth video.

The prime lens has an optical design with 11 elements in 9 groups, including 3 aspherical and 3 ED lenses to minimise distortion. This advanced design delivers sharpness from the centre to the edges, making the lens very suitable for full frame cameras. Its dust- and splashproof construction allows you to shoot in any situation, even in low temperatures down to 10°C.
