The Panasonic Lumix S9 is the perfect mirrorless camera for image creators who are often on the go and want to share their creations with the world online quickly and easily. This S9 has an ultra-lightweight and compact design, yet offers the power of full frame. The camera has a 24.2-megapixel full-frame sensor and you can use an extensive range of L-mount lenses.

The camera features real-time recognition autofocus with PDAF (Phase Detection Auto-Focus), allowing you to track subjects such as people, animals and vehicles easily and accurately. There is also built-in 5-axis Dual I.S.2 image stabilisation, which offers up to 6.5 stops. The I.S. image stabilisation provides 5 stops of stabilisation. You can also make stable handheld recordings thanks to Active I.S. image stabilisation, which reduces blur caused by camera shake.

Easy editing and sharing

The Panasonic Lumix S9 works closely with your smartphone. You can create your own so-called 'signature presets' on your smartphone. These signature presets are specific colour styles that you have created in advance. By then transferring them to the S9, you can apply them directly to the photos and videos you capture. This saves time in post-production. As well as creating your own presets, you can also choose to download presets via the LUMIX Lab app. Your recordings can be transferred to your smartphone quickly and easily thanks to improved connection speed and stability. A new recording format is used for this: MP4 Lite. This is an Open Gate video mode optimised for smartphones. Within 30 seconds, your photo or video is online, exactly as you want it.

Expand your reach with crop and hybrid zoom

You can expand the zoom range of the Panasonic S9 while retaining image quality. This is possible using the crop zoom function and the hybrid zoom function. The crop zoom function uses the centre of the camera sensor to expand the normal zoom range. The hybrid zoom function uses both optical and crop zoom to increase the focal length even further.

The Panasonic LUMIX S 40mm F/2.0 is a compact and fast prime lens for cameras with L-Mount. With a focal length of 40mm, this lens offers a natural angle of view that is close to the human field of vision. This makes it a versatile choice for everyday photography, street photography, portraits and landscapes.

The large maximum aperture of f/2.0 helps you work with faster shutter speeds in lower light, without unnecessarily increasing the ISO. This aperture also creates soft and beautiful background blur, helping your subject stand out more clearly from the background.

The lens is designed to be easy to take with you. With a length of approximately 4.1 cm and a weight of approximately 144 grams, your kit remains compact and lightweight. The lens also has the same 62mm filter size as the LUMIX S 18-40mm, which is practical if you want to share accessories.
