The Peak Design Everyday Messenger 13L v2 - Black is a versatile messenger-style bag designed for photographers and multimedia creators.Any photographer with a unique carrying need can take advantage of the compressible, size-adjustable design that minimizes bulk and can be expanded as needed. Thanks to multiple magnetic latches for the front flap, this bag can vary in height from 30 to 36 centimetres. In the main compartment, the two dividers can be configured according to the specific equipment being transported. The dividers are foldable and can support curved surfaces, such as the grip of a camera with an attached lens. During use, the foldable dividers provide protection between the curved surfaces and adjacent items. The area in between is minimized for more efficient use of space in the main compartment.

Under the front flap, a wide opening for the Everyday Messenger v2's main compartment makes it easy to store and remove items. The main compartment offers a dedicated compartment for a 12.9-inch tablet computer, a 15-inch laptop, as well as documents. During use of the bag, this compartment rests against the carrier. A zippered organiser pocket along the inside of the front flap provides storage space for pens, business cards, keys and small electronics. Along the front panel is a zippered opening that faces away from the wearer. This is a useful space for books, notebooks, documents or snacks. For larger items such as a tripod, monopod or packable clothing, external carrying straps are included to attach such items to the bottom of the Everyday Messenger v2.

While the padded, adjustable shoulder strap allows this bag to be carried across the body, the Everyday Messenger v2 can also be carried using the built-in top handle. For an improved fit, one of the external carry straps can be used as a hip belt to prevent the bag from accidentally sliding around the wearer, for example while cycling.

With a durable nylon construction, the Everyday Messenger v2 is built weather resistant. The bottom panel is waterproof to offer further protection of the contents when the bag is placed on a wet surface. When travelling with a rolling suitcase with a telescopic handle, a grommet strap across the rear panel of the Everyday Messenger v2 allows the entire bag to be mounted on such handles for added convenience.
