Pentax HD DA 55-300mm F/4.5-6.3 ED PLM WR

The Pentax HD DA 55-300mm F/4.5-6.3 ED PLM WR is a highly versatile zoom lens with a 35mm equivalent focal length of 84.5-460mm, designed for APS-C size cameras with a Pentax K-mount. The focal length of this lens ranges from portrait to supertele and the optical design uses extra-low dispersion glass to reduce colour shift and chromatic aberration throughout the entire zoom range. In addition, an HD coating has been applied to minimise lens flare and ghosting, ensuring high contrast and improved colour reproduction when working in bright light conditions. Furthermore, an SP (Super Protect) coating has also been applied to the front and back of the lens to prevent fingerprints, smudges and cleaning marks. Complementing the optical design is a fast-acting PLM (Pulse Motor), which ensures smooth, quiet and accurate autofocus for both stills and video recordings.
