The Phottix G-Capsule combines a softbox with a shoot-through umbrella, enabling numerous applications. Use it as a traditional softbox, with or without the included grid, as a beauty dish, or as a soft light lantern. The lantern's unique round shape delivers beautiful, even light with a wide panoramic effect.
The Phottix G-Capsule Softbox 60x90 cm (24 "x35") has a mid-large size and a quadrangular design, making it suitable for many forms of photography.
The "G" stands for the magnetic gel filter holder included. The set includes four colours and the double-sided magnetic design allows you to change filters in seconds. You can use the gels to create a special atmosphere in your shots.
The G-Capsule series comes in eight versions, including octa, parabolic and rectangular. It is equipped with a Bowens mount, which is easily interchangeable for other brands. There are also mounts for Elinchrom and Profoto. These are available separately.
The white inside of the softbox is finished with heat-resistant material that can withstand temperatures up to 120 °C, and the gels can withstand temperatures up to 130 °C. This makes the G-Capsule a good choice for use with various high-power LED lamps.
