The Phottix Raja Quick-Folding Softbox Deep Octa 80cm is a durably-built softbox that can be quickly assembled én taken down. The softbox opens like an umbrella and has a central metal connection. So there is no need to attach or remove rods separately and you can start shooting within seconds. The box comes with a standard Bowens S-mount speed ring that works with different types of lamps. However, you can also use the Phottix Raja with Elinchrom or Profoto mounts to expand the list emt compatible studio lamps.
The Raja softbox has a reflective silver interior, two removable fabric layers, a diffusion cloth and a diffuser. Using these components all at once will significantly soften your light and reduce light output by 1.5 stops. When you remove the diffuser, you increase contrast and make shadows heavier. Also included is a grid that you can attach to the front of the softbox. This allows you to strengthen the beam angle and control unwanted light in the background. With the included carrying bag, you can easily take the softbox anywhere.
