History of Pioneer
The history of Pioneer began in 1938 when founder Nozomu Matsumoto developed Japan's first dynamic loudspeaker in his radio repair workshop. Nozomu Matsumoto had the dream, with new technology and products,
to make better sound available to a wide public. To this very day, Pioneer applies this philosophy to the development of products for the reproduction of music, image and sound.
Eighty years later, Pioneer is still working on improving home entertainment products. For instance, more and more different products of the brand can be combined into a multi-room network. Meanwhile, the Japanese company has grown to become one of the leading players in the area of Home entertainment.
Pioneer Multi-Room
With the Pioneer Multi-Room, you can enjoy your favourite music in any room you want! This means more freedom for you as a user. Create a multi-room network simply with your existing system, such as for instance a receiver, and add new wireless speakers and audiosets. In this way, you will not miss any of your favourite music as you walk through your house.
Music in every room
You will never be without music with the multi-room system. All your favourite streaming services and internet radio can easily be accessed via the Pioneer Remote App. Furthermore, you can listen to external sources with analog input.*

Open platform
With FireConnect™, almost every sound source can be streamed from a compatible AV-receiver, etc., to wireless speakers which are positioned around the house. Take all your music outside the boundaries of the living room and enjoy your favourite music in every room!

Enjoy seamless integrated functioning with your favourite device. With the Pioneer Remote App, you can use your iPad/iPhone/iPod touch or Android device, in order to adjust the volume, the input source and other settings of the Pioneer product. You can even group rooms or simply and intuitively make use of other multi-room functions.
