.The Plustek SmartOffice PS188 is designed to help office workgroups optimise their individual workflow. With the new scan management software DocAction II and MacAction II, which come with the PS188, you can easily organise and manage scanned documents.
The PS188 is a duplex scanner with a speed of 30/60 pages per minute and a 50-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF), making it highly efficient for scanning large volumes of documents.
The PS188 offers multiple types of storage formats, including PDF, TIFF, BMP, JPG and PNG. It is convenient for multiple different Users, for example accounting and sales departments, to deliver and edit documents with multiple formats using the same scanner.
Convert scanned documents into text-searchable and editable files, making the files easier to organise, search and share. Highly Portable and fits even in an already busy office, it still offers great versatility in scanning tasks. The PS188 can handle multiple types of document formats, including: office documents, receipts, invoices, business cards, driving licences, insurance cards and ID cards, all up to a thickness of 1.2 mm scan from A4 document to card.
The PS188 provides users with a convenient way to scan barcodes embedded in documents. Users can then set scanned barcode numbers as the document file names, allowing easy retrieval of documents based on the user's own barcode systems.
The scanning process is controlled by 3 physical buttons, but the User can create up to 23 profiles, stored on the PC or Mac and transferable to the SmartOffice PS188's 9 profile slots. These profiles can be customised based on aspects such as; scan mode in simplex or duplex, colour or scale, resolution, size and the storage destination for the scanned documents.
